Alina Corbato Deputies arrested Alina Corbato on Friday and she faced 11 charges in Miami-Dade County.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 57-year-old woman faced 11 criminal charges, and the victims were about a dozen of her neighbors in Miami-Dade County, records show.

Alina Corbato appeared in bond court on Monday after Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested her on Friday morning near Southwest 78 Street and 55 Avenue.

Corbato’s neighbors reported that witnesses saw her “break the rear windshield wipers off” from cars and use a knife to scratch off registration sticker decals from license plates, records show.

A neighbor reported Corbato had already stolen her bicycle from a shared storage room on July 31, damaged it, and left it by a dumpster. It was valued at $3,000.

Court records show prosecutors filed a case against her on Saturday for third-degree grand theft, a felony, and 10 counts of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. She also appeared in court on Saturday and Sunday.

According to the arrest report, the neighbors had surveillance video. Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Milton Hirsch was set to preside over the case.
