Pedestrian in wheelchair killed after being struck by motorcycle in Miami – NBC 6 South Florida

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motorcycle in Miami, officials said.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, crews arrived at the scene at Northwest 17 Avenue and 53rd Street, where they found the pedestrian, who was in a wheelchair and the driver of the motorcycle.

They were both taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Miami Police said the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The identities of both the pedestrian and the driver were not released.
