Miami marathon registration opens Friday – NBC 6 South Florida
Registration for the Life Time Miami Marathon and Half race officially opens Friday.
The race is set for Jan. 25, 2026—returning to its traditional date after being held in February in recent years—and organizers say you should act fast if you want to secure a spot.
The registration has been open since July 25 for members with an active club-access membership. On Friday it will open to the public and attendance will be capped at 18,500 participants.

General registration costs $210 for the marathon and $180 for the half marathon.
The race is now in it’s 24th year and attracts thousands of runners from all over the world.
“The course takes runners on a breathtaking journey, weaving through palm-lined avenues, alongside shimmering turquoise waters, and past iconic landmarks like the Art Deco buildings of South Beach and the magnificent Port of Miami,” the official website reads.
