Free MLS live streams: Inter Miami vs. FC Cincinnati today

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — Inter Miami — without superstar Lionel Messi — returns from the MLS All-Star break to face FC Cincinnati in a high-stakes clash between two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference today — Saturday, July 26 — at Chase Stadium. The game kicks off at 7:15 p.m. on FS1.

Fans who’ve cut the cord on cable can stream the game on multiple platforms, including DIRECTV (free trial), Fubo ($20 off first month) or Sling (promotional offers).

Streaming service Monthly Price Free trial Length Discount

Sling $45.99 No N/A Half off first month

Messi and teammate Jordi Alba were both suspended for the match after missing Wednesday’s MLS All-Star Game. Messi – who has played every minute in 22 of 23 games since April 2 — sat out for rest, while Alba was coming off a muscle injury suffered before the break.

“Per league rules, any player who does not participate in the All-Star Game without prior approval from the league is ineligible to compete in their club’s next match,” a MLS statement said.

FC Cincinnati enters the match in first place in the Supporters’ Shield standings with a record of 15-6-3, while Inter Miami sits atop the MLS power rankings at 12-4-5. The game is a rematch of their July 16 meeting in Cincinnati, which the home team won 3-0 — one of just four losses Miami has suffered this season.

A look at Inter Miami

Inter Miami bounced back quickly from that defeat, beating the New York Red Bulls 5-1 in its most recent game on July 19. Superstar Lionel Messi added two more goals to his growing tally, making it six braces in his last seven matches. The reigning MLS MVP is currently tied for the league lead with 18 goals and continues to average a goal per match.

So, it’s a good thing Miami’s recent success isn’t solely due to Messi’s brilliance. The Herons have received a boost from its supporting cast. The team ranks near the top of the league in assists, goals scored and chances created, showing a much more complete and balanced attack than it had at this time last year. Miami has cleaned things up defensively as well, giving up just 1.6 goals per game and winning four of their last five since returning from Club World Cup play.

A look at FC Cincinnati

Hell is indeed real for FC Cincinnati; the only blemish on their record since June 1 is a 4-2 loss to rival Columbus on July 12, and the team has won six of its last seven matches. In the two matches that followed that defeat to the Crew — both clean-sheet wins against Real Salt Lake and Inter Miami — Cincinnati looked every bit the part of a championship contender.

Midfielder Evander has been at the center of that success, scoring 15 goals in 22 matches and putting his name alongside Messi in the MVP conversation. The 27-year-old Brazilian playmaker has been a game-changer in his first season in Cincinnati, combining creative distribution with a nose for goal.

Inter Miami players to watch

Luis Suarez: Still one of the smartest players in the game, Suárez has 11 assists and five goals through 18 games. He’s also No. 2 in league-wide jersey sales behind only Messi.

Telasco Segovia: The 21-year-old Venezuelan midfielder has been a revelation and is coming off a two-goal game against the Red Bulls.

Óscar Ustari: The veteran goalkeeper has 56 saves in 17 starts this season, allowing 24 goals and recording four clean sheets.

FC Cincinnati players to watch

Evander: The 2025 MLS All-Star Captain is Cincinnati’s leading scorer and biggest threat. His 15 goals rank third in MLS, and he’s also logged 52 key passes this year — among the most in the league.

Kévin Denkey: Brought in from Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge for a club-record $16.2 million, Denkey has made a strong first impression, with 12 goals in 20 starts. But he has missed the last two games with a leg injury, and his status is uncertain.

Luca Orellano: The second-year forward from Argentina has rediscovered his form, scoring an electrifying, long-range winner against Real Salt Lake on July 19.

Miles Robinson: The U.S. Men’s National Team defender earned his third All-Star nod this year and anchors a backline that’s held opponents scoreless two out of the last three games.

Roman Celentano: Cincinnati’s starting goalkeeper has 69 saves, 31 goals allowed and eight clean sheets through 24 starts this season.
