42 days until Notre Dame opens the 2025 season at Miami
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – WNDU.com is counting down the days until the Notre Dame football team begins its 2025 season against the Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium. We’re providing bits of information and insight about the team and the game every day until the season begins.
If you’re planning to go to the game in Miami and haven’t bought your tickets yet, the prices are on the rise. Last week the get in price was $215, now it’s up to $235. Those are the prices you’ll pay for the cheapest seats. Hard Rock Stadium only holds 65 thousand so the demand for tickets will likely only go up, raising prices.
Most football experts believe Notre Dame has the more talented team, but the big question for the Irish will be quarterback play. Notre Dame’s quarterback, whether it be C.J. Carr or Kenny Minchey, will be starting his first game ever. The two young quarterbacks will battle it out this fall for the starting job. C.J. Carr is considered the favorite to win the job.
Miami has an experienced quarterback that they paid a lot of money to get from the transfer portal. Carson Beck played at Georgia, but he got hurt last year and decided to transfer. Miami is reportedly paying him more than $3 million, plus incentives.
How will Notre Dame’s young quarterback handle a hostile and loud crowd? Will Carson Beck’s experience allow him to make big plays in the big moments? A lot of questions that can only be answered on the field in Miami on Aug. 31.
