Meet the 2025-26 Miami Hockey Team: Nicholas Mikan


OXFORD, Ohio— With the Miami Hockey season set to begin on Friday, Oct. 3 against Ferris State at Steve “Coach” Cady Arena, second-year head coach Anthony Noreen‘s program will have quite a few new faces in 2025-26.
 
Nicholas Mikan, a forward from Edina, Minn., will join the RedHawks this year. He played last year for the University of St. Thomas.

PRIOR TO MIAMI

  • Skated in five games for St. Thomas during 2024-25 season
  • Put up 13 points (8-5-13) in 35 games for BCHL’s Vernon Vipers in 2023-24
  • Played 56 games for MJHL’s Steinbach Pistons in 2022-23 with 34 points (16-18-34), adding three points in 16 playoff appearances
  • Won Turnbull Cup championship with Pistons in 2023
