A woman who was found unconscious and floating in the Miami River Tuesday morning after she was allegedly pushed into the waterway has died, officials said.
The woman, identified as 39-year-old Marie Roseme, was pushed into the river near Southwest River Drive under the Southwest 1st Street bridge, Miami Police officials said.
Police confirmed Friday that Roseme was pronounced dead on Thursday.
Roseme had been sitting on the seawall when she got into an argument with 47-year-old William Youmans, who then pushed her into the water, police said.
Youmans was arrested on an attempted murder charge but could face new charges.
