1 victim dies after double stabbing along Bird Road in Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One victim has died following a double stabbing that occurred Monday in Miami-Dade County, deputies confirmed Tuesday morning.

Video from Sky 10 Monday afternoon showed crime scene tape up at a bus stop near Southwest 107th Avenue and at a nearby TD Bank branch near 112th Avenue.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s office deputies said they were sent to the latter location at around 10:35 a.m. after receiving reports of a man armed with a knife.

Deputies took a man into custody after arriving at the Southwest 112th Avenue scene, they said. He hasn’t been publicly identified as of Tuesday morning.

Medics took two victims to a local hospital. Deputies said one of the victims was stable while the other was initially listed in critical condition. That victim has since died.

Authorities haven’t yet said what led up to the double stabbing.
