Miami-Dade Transit bus struck by Tri-Rail train in Opa-locka

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – A Tri-Rail train collided with a Miami-Dade Transit bus on Wednesday night.

It happened near Ali Baba Avenue and 22nd Avenue in Opa-locka.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, there were multiple people on the bus who suffered minor injuries.

At last check, crews were walking a half-mile down the tracks to check if anyone on the train was hurt.

It appeard the back of the bus is where it was struck by a train.
