1 dead, 1 injured after car strikes pedestrians

MIAMI – A fatal accident involving pedestrians is under investigation in Miami.

It happened in the area of Southwest 19th Street and 21st Avenue at approximately 7 p.m.

According to police, a vehicle hit two pedestrians before striking a parked car.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Miami Fire Rescue crews rushed the second victim to Ryder Trauma Center.

Police did not provide any information on the health status of the driver or whether they will be facing any charges.
