Man suffers burns while working on boat in Miami-Dade

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A man suffered burns while working on a boat on Friday in southern Miami-Dade County.

According to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office, the man was injured near Southwest 319 Street and 188 Avenue, just outside of Homestead.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded shortly after 7 p.m. and used a helicopter to fly the man to a nearby hospital.
