Man stabbed in abdomen outside northwest Miami-Dade 7-Eleven

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was hospitalized late Sunday night after being stabbed in the abdomen outside of a 7-Eleven in northwest Miami-Dade, authorities said.

Deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said they responded to the 2100 block of Northwest 79th Street just before 10:30 p.m. and found a man with a deep laceration consistent with a stab wound.

The man told deputies he had been stabbed by an unknown male, according to investigators.

Authorities said medics with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.

Deputies said the investigation is ongoing and no information about the victim’s age or a possible suspect has been released.
