MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – Miami Norland seniors brought style and sophistication to the spotlight over the weekend with a Met Gala themed prom that turned heads and set the tone for a memorable night.

7News spoke with Principal Rhonda Gaines-Miller, who said, 311 students attend the star-studded event held this past Saturday at the Hilton hotel in Aventura.

The students picked the theme themselves and the school’s Activities Director, Ms. Latravia Ferguson made it all possible.

In addition to their show-stopping sense of fashion, these students are also extremely intelligent, with the average GPA for this year’s senior class being a 3.3. The senior with the top GPA is Dejaya Hardy. She has a GPA of 5.3.

A total of 310 seniors will graduate on may 28th.
