Miami will try to win its first playoff game since 2000 this season.
The Dolphins have added key free agents like James Daniels, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Zach Wilson, Ifeatu Melifonwu and Ashtyn Davis.
The Dolphins are looking to trade cornerback Jalen Ramsey as player and club are unhappy with each other.
The Dolphins will try to make the 2025 NFL playoffs for a third time in four years under coach Mike McDaniel.
Grier is trying to keep a focus on both the short- and longer-term priorities.
That said, let’s do a look-ahead to the list of the 2026 unrestricted free agents for the Dolphins.
By far, the biggest potential star 2026 UFA is is edge rusher Jalean Phillips.

Phillips has 23 sacks in 46 games over four years and will play this season on a fifth-year option.
But due to injury, Phillips has averaged only 11 games per season.
The Dolphins believe in Phillips’ athleticism, determination, work ethic, leadership and high ceiling.
If and when Miami extends or does not extend him will likely be heavily influenced by if Phillips stays healthy in 2025.
