Amber Alert issued for 9-year-old Miami Gardens boy taken by his mother

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for a young boy out of Miami-Dade County.

According to authorities, 9-year-old Liam Smith was removed from his school transportation by his mother.

Police said 45-year-old Tameeka Budwah is a non-custodial parent and was last seen driving a 2000 four-door Honda Civic with Florida tag RJVL88.

Authorities describe Smith as 4-feet tall weighing 65 lbs. with black dreads. He was last seen wearing his school uniform, a light blue shirt and dark blue pants.
