Woman hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times in Miami

MIAMI – Authorities in Miami are investigating a stabbing incident in which a woman was badly injured.

It happened at approximately 8:13 p.m. along the 1000 block of Northwest Seventh Court in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood.

According to police, responding officers arrived at the scene and found a woman who had been stabbed.

Fire rescue workers said she was stabbed multiple times and rushed her to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Officers did not say whether they were seeking any suspects or persons of interest.

An investigation into the circumstances that led up to the stabbing is ongoing.
