Detectives search for gunman in blue Ford pickup truck after woman shot in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Detectives searched for a gunman after a woman was shot on Monday in Miami Gardens.

The suspect was the woman’s son-in-law who fled in a blue 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck with a Florida tag 04ASCB, police said.

Miami-Dade fire rescue personnel used a helicopter to fly the woman to the HCA Florida Aventura Hospital.

Fire rescue personnel and police officers responded to the shooting shortly before 11:30 a.m., at Northwest 203 Terrace and 44 Avenue.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
