UFC 314: Volkanovski vs Lopes Main Card Results
Dominick Reyes kicked things off by continuing his career renaissance (Domaissance, anyone?) with a first-round knockout win over Nikita Krylov before Jean Silva choked out Bryce Mitchell to earn his second win of the year. In the middle of the main card, Yair Rodríguez turned in his best performance in quite some time, dominating Patricio Pitbull, which was followed by Paddy Pimblett blowing through Michael Chandler in less than three rounds, elevating himself into the Top 10 in the process.
And in the main event, Alexander Volkanovski claimed the vacant featherweight title, becoming a two-time champion by out-working Diego Lopes over five rounds.
It was a fantastic night of action inside the Octagon, and we’ve got all the details from the main card gathered for your review below.
The main event and co-main event are scheduled for five rounds. All other bouts are scheduled for three rounds.
