Man shot, killed after altercation at Naranja Park in southwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Monday.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, it happened at Naranja Park, located at 14150 Southwest 264th Street.

Deputies said an 18-year-old man was shot after some sort of altercation. He was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Loved ones of the victim were seen distraught at the scene.

Authorities did not release any information on any suspects or persons of interest.
