Miami Hurricanes receive commitment from Class of 2026 Fort Myers offensive lineman
The Miami Hurricanes on Saturday received a verbal commitment from Class of 2026 three-star offensive lineman Joel Ervin, the second offensive lineman in the class to make his pledge to UM.
This is the second consecutive weekend Miami has received a commitment, as four-star running back Javian Mallory committed last Saturday.

Ervin, listed at 6-6 and 280 pounds, is an offensive tackle from Fort Myers High. He is rated as the No. 60 offensive tackle prospect in the Class of 2026 and the No. 100 overall prospect in the state of Florida regardless of position, according to the 247Sports composite ranking. He holds offers from 23 schools.
“IM HOME,” Ervin wrote in a post on X announcing his commitment.
Ervin is the seventh player to pledge to Miami’s Class of 2026.
The rest of the class as of Saturday: Mallory, Carol City four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell, Charlotte Myers Park four-star cornerback Camdin Portis, Seffner Armwood four-star cornerback Jaelen Waters, Orlando Jones three-star quarterback Dereon Coleman and Mineral City (Ohio) Tuscarawas Valley three-star offensive lineman Ben Congdon.
