Deputies investigate after man found dead in Miami-Dade’s West Little River

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a death in northwest Miami-Dade after they received reports of possible gunfire Wednesday morning.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home near the 8800 block of Northwest 23rd Avenue in West Little River, where they confirmed that a man was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

Authorities have not confirmed how the man died nor if a shooting had in fact occurred.

No further details about the victim or possible suspect were immediately released.
