Where To Celebrate Women’s History Month 2025 In Miami

March is Women’s History Month in the United States, honoring the contributions made by women throughout history. March 8th is International Women’s Day, themed this year to “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” a celebration of women’s achievements, and a call to action on gender equality and women.

In Miami, we aren’t short of celebrations— from enjoying specialty cocktails with proceeds benefitting women’s shelters to collaboration dinners between women chefs to specialty cocktails to women-led fitness workouts to shopping from women-owned businesses.

Here’s where to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month in Miami:

Elia on the River

On March 8, from 3:00PM to 6:00PM, Elia on the River will be offering ladies complimentary bubbly while they enjoy the restaurant’s waterfront views.

Jarana Aventura

Jarana, the modern Peruvian restaurant and pisco bar under Gaston Acurio’s restaurant group, Acurio International, is celebrating Women’s History Month with two collaboration dinners. On March 8, executive chef Martha Palacio, will be collaborating with chef Karla Hoyos of Tacotomia, where guests can expect Mexican-Peruvian hybrid dishes like short rib anticuchos with birria adobo and Veracruz-style fish with king crab. On March 12, Palacio will be collaborating with James Beard award-winning Chef Valerie Chang of Maty’s, on a menu that features dishes like cebiche mixto and Peruvian corn stew served with slow-braised lamb shank with Peruvian chilies. Tickets for both collaboration dinners are priced at $70 per person.

LPM Restaurant & Bar Miami

On March 11, LPM Restaurant & Bar will be hosting a one-night-only takeover by Mijente Tequila’s global advocacy director, Natasha Sofia, and South Florida brand ambassador, Danielle Espindola, from 6 to 8 PM. Throughout the month, the Brickell hotspot will be offering limited edition items: a Paloma cocktail ($19), with blanco tequila, strawberry and hibiscus infused agave, lime juice, grapefruit juice, soda, black lava salt; and Tiramisu au Chocolat Blanc et Fraises ($17), a white chocolate tiramisu with fresh strawberries. For each purchase of these items, LPM Miami and Mijenta Tequila will be donating proceeds to Lotus House, a women’s shelter that houses over 1,550 women, youth and children.

Moxy Miami South Beach

On March 8, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, The Only Studio (owners of Reforming Pilates) will be hosting a barre sculpt class with instructor Alexa Katz at the hotel’s The Upside rooftop. The event is free for hotel guests— they can sign up in the lobby to secure their spot— or $20 outside guests.

Also on March 8, Serena Rooftop will be hosting an International Women’s Day Brunch from 11AM to 4PM. On this day, still and sparkling Hampton Water Rosé will be available by the glass for just $5.

On March 13, at 6:00PM, fitness model and trainer Allegra Paris will be leading a glutes and abs focused sculpt class, using bodyweight and resistance band exercises, in partnership with Seaav activewear, also at The Upside rooftop from 6:00PM to 8:30PM. Tickets run from $45 to 60, and include a sports bra.

In honor of Women’s History Month, self-taught portrait artist and illustrator Michelle Coronado will be offering five-minute portrait sketches for individuals and groups on March 9, from 2:00PM to 7:00 pm at Paradox Museum Miami’s Studio.

The Standard Spa Miami Beach

In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, The Standard Spa’s Monthly Market will showcase exclusively female entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses. Guests can look out for botanical-inspired designs by mother-and-daughter duo Kasiopya; jewelry from Eye of Shakti, ceramics by Erica Lores; sustainable Peruvian clothing from Villa Melina; and Argentinean “wearable art” from Fabric of Colours, and can enjoy sounds by Ari Sanchez and beverages from Little Saints.

Uchi Miami

Throughout the month of March, Uchi in Wynwood will be serving the Pink Dragon cocktail ($18), made with vodka, pink dragon fruit and coconut. A portion of the profits for each cocktail sold will benefit Girl Power Rocks, the local nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls from at-risk communities through mentorship, leadership programs, and social-emotional learning.

Zuma Miami

Throughout the month of March, for each order of Zuma’s signature Rose Petal Lychee Martini ($20)—a blend of vodka, gin, lychee, rose syrup, and lemon— the restaurant will be donating part of the proceeds to the non-profit, Catalyst, Inc.
