Carbone Beach Gears Up For Another Victory Lap During Miami’s F1 Week

Carbone Beach, Major Food Group’s star-studded supper club on the sand, will return to Miami Beach for its fourth year on May 2-4. And as usual at this dining and entertainment extravaganza presented by American Express during the week of Formula One’s Miami Grand Prix, there will be luxurious food curated by chef Mario Carbone, prominent musical performers (to be announced) and an over-the-top sense of spectacle.

Last year, for example, saw Ken Griffin enjoying dinner with Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk at Carbone Beach on a weekend when Stephen Ross, Jorge Perez, Michael Rubin, Ivanka Trump, Patrick Mahomes, LeBron James, Derek Jeter, Lindsay Vonn, Kevin Durant, Travis Kelce and other A-listers also visited this unrivaled pop-up. Plus, last year’s Carbone Beach featured performances from The Chainsmokers, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, LL Cool J and Pitbull, all of which had revelers grooving on a dance floor atop sand and under chandeliers. The Chainsmokers even invited the crowd on stage. But maybe the biggest exclamation point came when McLaren driver Lando Norris showed up at Carbone Beach on Sunday evening after winning the Miami Grand Prix.

Because this is Major Food Group (whose Miami dining empire includes Carbone, ZZ’s, Chateau ZZ’s, Dirty French Steakhouse, Sadelle’s and other hot spots), the food and drinks at Carbone Beach are as striking as the scene. Everything from the chilled seafood atop ice sculptures to the caviar/uni/toro hand rolls to the oceanfront cocktail hour to Carbone’s famous spicy rigatoni, crowd-pleasing veal Parm and colossal steaks adds up to an elite feast. And the goal, as always, is to find new ways to get grander and better.

“It’s no different than our restaurants,” says Major Food Group co-founder Jeff Zalaznick, who recently opened Carbone Vino in Coconut Grove. “We never settle. It’s not going to be the same as it was last year. We’re continuing to innovate. And no matter how amazing it is and how many great people come and enjoy it, we’re constantly working to improve. which is what makes us who we are and makes the event what it is.”

Tickets and tables for Carbone Beach are available on Resy and via CarboneBeach.com starting today. (All purchases must be made with an American Express card.) For Friday and Sunday, tickets start at $3,000 per person and tables start at $30,000 for 10 people. Due to high demand for Saturday, tickets that night start at $4,000 per person and tables start at $40,000 for 10 people.

“Everybody knows that every night is iconic, and you never know who you’re going to see, and the best people are going to be there,” says Zalaznick, whose Carbone Beach guests have also included David Beckham, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, James Corden, Jamie Foxx, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union and Hailee Steinfeld. “That gives us more ability and confidence to keep improving and to make sure that every year tops the last. And even if you’ve been there three years in a row, you’re looking forward to it. We’re continually pushing the boundaries of what a luxury event can be.”
