Detectives arrest suspect accused of killing 5 during car crash caught on video in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Detectives arrested a man accused of causing a crash that killed four children and an adult.

Surveillance video shows the crash on Saturday at Northwest 170 Street and 37 Avenue.

A black Kia Sorento plowed into a white Nissan Altima, which then crashed into a gray Cadillac Escalade.

The five people who died were in the Nissan Altima. Detectives arrested the driver of the Kia Sorento.

Detectives suspect speed and driving under the influence were causal factors.
