Miami-Dade deputies investigating double shooting

MIAMI – Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday in Miami-Dade County.

It happened in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 85th Street.

According to deputies, united were dispatched after receiving a shot spotter alert and arrived to find a man who had been shot.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

Additionally, authorities said a second victim was taken to the hospital by an unknown person.

Deputies did not have any information on the second victim’s health status or how they knew the two were injured in the same shooting.

Authorities said the subject is still at large but did not provide any information on their description.

The investigation is ongoing.
