Alexander Brothers Plead Not Guilty in Sex Trafficking Case
Three brothers who were once fixtures of the nightlife circuits in Miami and New York pleaded not guilty on Friday to federal sex trafficking conspiracy charges in a Manhattan courtroom. The federal trial of Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander has been set for January 2026.
Federal prosecutors say all three men used their wealth and status to lure, drug and then sexually assault and rape dozens of women. They were arrested in December in Miami Beach and face a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted.
Tal Alexander, 38, and Oren Alexander, 37, had been prominent real estate agents, brokering some of the most expensive properties in Florida and New York. Alon Alexander, who is 37 and Oren’s twin, did not work in real estate, but he attended parties and went to private clubs with his brothers.
In addition to the federal charges, Oren and Alon Alexander face state charges connected to three separate assaults. Both pleaded not guilty to those state charges in December. Ohad Fisherman, a family friend and fellow real estate broker, was named as an accomplice in one of those assaults; he surrendered to authorities in December and was released on bail.
On Friday, shackled and dressed in beige prison jumpsuits, each of the three brothers was seated next to his respective lawyer, as a federal prosecutor told Judge Valerie E. Caproni that the case against the men is growing.
The Southern District of New York has interviewed more than 60 women who have reported being raped by at least one of the brothers, prosecutor Elizabeth Espinosa said in court. “We are continuing to hear from additional victims and to identify additional victims,” she said.
