Road rage incident leads to man being shot in northwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday morning shooting that left a man injured.

According to deputies, they received a ShotSpotter alert at 8:21 a.m. and responded to the area of 102 NW 27th Ave. where they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Deputies said Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

According to authorities, the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident.
