Miami Hockey returns to Steve “Coach” Cady Arena this weekend to host Omaha in an NCHC series. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17 and Saturday, Jan. 18; Miami’s collegiate synchronized skating team will perform at an intermission Friday, and fans are invited to ‘Skate with the Hawks’ after Saturday night’s contest! The RedHawks are coming off a pair of losses at No. 6 Denver last week. Miami Baseball released its 2025 schedule, which gets underway Feb. 14 in Charleston, S.C. and includes 22 home dates at McKie Field … Miami Softball announced its 2025 schedule, which kicks off Feb. 7 in Tempe, Ariz. and sees home action begin March 7-9 for the Miami Tournament … Miami Softball’s Jenna Golembiewski checks in at No. 10 nationally on Softball America’s preseason player rankings, earning First Team All-America preseason honors as well, and was tabbed No. 26 in the D1Softball Preseason D100 Player Rankings … Miami Tennis was picked to finish first place in the MAC and win the conference tournament, according to the league’s preseason coaches’ poll; the RedHawks get their spring underway Wednesday at Loyola Marymount …  Miami Track and Field began the indoor schedule with competitions in Louisville and Akron … Miami Swimming and Diving took down Toledo 188-107 on the road in a women’s meet … Miami Skating begins its international schedule this weekend as the senior team competes at the CS Mozart Cup in Salzburg, Austria … Miami Football standouts Cade McDonald and Matt Salopek were recognized as CSC Academic All-District for their performance on the field and in the classroom.
