Police investigate around 2 dozen car burglaries in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Miami Beach police are investigating a string of car burglaries.

It happened in the area of the 100 block of North Shore Drive in the Normandy Shores neighborhood.

Officers responded at approximately 6:21 a.m. on Monday and found that around 24 vehicles in the area had been burglarized.

Investigators are actively looking into the case, which left residents startled as they came out to their cars on Monday morning.

“We have detectives canvassing any additional leads,” said Miami Beach Police Officer Christopher Bess.
