Sean Kingston makes federal court appearance on wire fraud charges

MIAMI – Musician Sean Kingston and his mother appeared in a Miami federal courtroom on wire fraud charges on Friday.

Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, are accused of scamming several businesses out of more than a million dollars’ worth of goods.

The items included high-end vehicles and jewelry.

Both Kingston and Turner are each facing six counts against them.

If convicted, they face up to 20 years in prison.
