Dolphins need contribution from rookies – Miami Dolphins News 7/16/24
For the first time since 2021, the Miami Dolphins had a first round selection and they used it to select EDGE Chop Robinson out of Penn State. Robinson could be thrown into a bigger role immediately if Jaelan Phillips and/or Bradley Chubb are not healthy enough for the beginning of the season. Getting production from rookies has been tough the past couple of seasons for the Dolphins thanks in large part to the team not having many picks. But that needs to start changing because if the Dolphins would like to contend every season, they need to start developing their young guys and not let them walk out the door when their rookie contracts are up.
