Real Housewives Of Miami star Alexia Nepola hints she is on vacation with her estranged husband Todd… three months after he filed for divorce

Alexia Nepola has hinted that she is on vacation with her estranged husband, Todd Nepola.

The Real Housewives of Miami star touched down in Madrid on Friday and shared a look at her getaway on her Instagram Stories.

Posting a photo of herself wearing a black crop top and white sunglasses, Alexia wrote, ‘Hola Madrid!’

However, the next slide raised eyebrows for followers, as beneath a snap of the 57-year-old’s meal at the Four Seasons Hotel, she tagged Todd’s Instagram handle: ‘@lifeaccordingtotodd,’ and added a winking face emoji.

But the businessman was missing from Alexia’s main feed post, which showed the reality personality exploring the city. 

‘First stop of my Eurotour,’ Alexia captioned the carousel. 

Their time together abroad comes three months after Todd filed for divorce from the mom-of-two after nearly three years of marriage.

The Current Capital Group founder filed on April 11, citing the marriage as ‘irretrievably broken.’

Alexia took to her Instagram Stories shortly after the news broke, writing, ‘I am shocked and heartbroken Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage. I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time. I’m praying for better times ahead.’

A few weeks later, the beauty bar owner opened up in detail about their breakup, sharing the news blindsided her. 

‘It’s been three weeks, so I’m still taking it all in and trying to understand, to process it,’ Alexia revealed on her and her RHOM costar Marysol Patton’s, Ay Por Favor podcast. ‘You know, again, I think [that] in every relationship, you kind of go back to the seven years we’ve been together.’

She added, ‘Because even though we were married for two years and three months, because I count every day, you just can’t help yourself but to go back to those seven years and say, “What went wrong?”‘

Alexia continued, tearfully telling listeners, ‘For the first week, for the first two weeks – actually, still today, it’s been three weeks, and I’m still going back in my head like, “What happened?”‘

Despite the emotional turmoil she was going through, the Miami resident tried to see the glass half full.

‘I’m a positive person, so I try to think about all the beautiful times we had together — all of our beautiful trips…’ Alexia reflected. ‘I don’t want to have any anger, but I understand that anger is one of the grieving stages.’ 

‘I find myself lost,’ she confessed. ‘It’s been very, very difficult. It’s been very painful, hurtful, and I’m just getting through it.’

Meanwhile, Alexia noted that a lack of love wasn’t the reason behind their breakup.

‘It’s just very sad, I guess we couldn’t figure out a way to fix things, and that’s why I was in such shock because I’m a fighter, I fight right?’ she said to Marysol. ‘I was never expecting that, I thought things were good, so it’s been really shocking and I’m devastated.’

The couple tied the knot in 2021, with Alexia giving insight into their meaningful December ceremony shortly after.

‘Our favorite moment of the ceremony was when a big sea turtle came up to above the water,’ she told US Weeky. ‘I knew there was a symbolic and spiritual meaning and the universe trying to tell me something. Sea turtles symbolize longevity, peace, perseverance, healing, steadfastness, wisdom and emotional strength. I am a sea turtle!’

Meanwhile, Alexia and Todd became the topic of conversation during season six of the Bravo reality show as the podcast host’s costars questioned their finances and relationship. 

Adriana de Moura suggested to Julia Lemigova that Alexia and Todd were on the verge of a split, which is why they had to move from her condo. 

However, Alexia denied the accusations, explaining during the reunion, that she still shared a checking account with her husband and provided the condo’s lease to prove her family wasn’t going through financial troubles.

‘I don’t appreciate that just because I’m renting and I happen to have move out because they sold our unit – that I’m having financial problems,’ she remarked. ‘I’m married to a reputable businessman that has his own business.’
