Houston Astros Star Jose Altuve Snags Sleek, Sky-High Condo Near Miami for $4.8M
Houston Astros All-Star second baseman José Altuve has purchased a posh South Florida condo for $4.8 million.
Set in Sunny Isles Beach in the Jade Signature building, Altuve’s three-bedroom, 4.5-bath residence on the 47th floor sits 21 miles north of Miami. The residence had been on the market for $4.95 million, so Altuve also scored a slight bargain.
At just under 3,000 square feet inside, the white-box home feels open and contemporary from every angle. A private elevator arrives to reveal 10-foot ceilings, two terraces, and interiors by acclaimed French firm Pierre-Yves Rochon. The floor plan features a spacious living area, dining space, and a kitchen with appliances by Gaggenau.
The ocean-facing primary bedroom is generous, with room for a large lounge chair. A nearby bathroom has a soaking tub, two sinks, and a large shower. There’s also a large walk-in closet with plenty of built-ins and drawers.
The beachfront tower has loads of amenities for its lucky residents—there’s a bar and grill with pool and beach service, a fitness center with top-notch equipment and ocean views, plus a 25-meter lap pool.
Altuve has spent his entire career with the Astros and made his big league debut with the team in 2011. An eight-time All-Star, he’s led the team to World Series wins in 2017 and 2022. In February, he signed a five-year, $125 million contract extension that will keep him in Houston through 2029.
