Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis holds press conference at Miami children’s hospital

MIAMI – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is holding a press conference at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami Tuesday afternoon.

DeSantis will be joined by First Lady Casey DeSantis, Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez, Florida Department of Health Surgeon General Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, according to a news release from the governor’s office.

DeSantis said since he has become governor, Florida has the smallest state debt per capita out of any state in the country.

DeSantis is expected to sign three health-related bills during Tuesday’s conference:
