5/31/24 UPDATE: Miami #Dolphins Orange Jersey Award TRACKER
We’ve got a double dose of orange jersey award updates for you today due to some traveling I was doing this week. But, have no fear! This tracker will be kept updated no matter how many flight delays and holding patterns I have to incur.
The Miami Dolphins continued their offseason work in Miami Gardens recently, with OTAs giving the players an opportunity to knock off the rust in preparation for the start of the 2024 NFL season.
Two more players were recognized for their outstanding performances at practices this week.
The recipients?
Interior offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg and linebacker Duke Riley!
In a perfect world, the Dolphins would prefer both of these men to be depth pieces who play special teams, however, as we’ve grown accustomed to as fans of this South Florida franchise, injuries happen, and sometimes your depth pieces become starters.
Eichenberg has reportedly been working as the team’s starting center while the newly acquired Aaron Brewer works his way back from injury. If this award is any indication, he has been performing admirably.
Riley, when not making fire music videos, has been a staple in Miami’s linebacking corp for years, always filling in solidly when called upon.
