4 injured after crash at church in northwestern Miami-Dade

Four were injured, two cars were damaged and there was a hole in the wall of a church after a crash on Thursday morning in northwestern Miami-Dade County.

The driver of an orange Dodge Challenger crashed into The New Solid Rock Baptist Church, at 9026 NW 22 Ave., in the West Little River area.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel found the four injured and took them to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

One person’s condition was critical and the other three were stable. Miami-Dade police officers were investigating the cause of the crash.
