Game in a nutshell: Freshman slugger Daniel Cuvet spotted Miami to an early lead with a three-run homer in the first, then broke the game open with another three-run shot in the seventh. Lefthanders Rafe Schlesinger (5.2 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 5 K) and Myles Caba (3.1 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 K) both turned in strong mound work for the Hurricanes, keeping Louisville’s offense at bay.
