Derek and Hannah Jeter’s Cozy Date Night at F1 Weekend in Miami
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
Derek Jeter and wife Hannah Jeter enjoyed a night out while in Miami for the Formula 1 weekend, which kicked off on May 2.
The couple, who are the proud parents of four kids, spent a parents’ night out at newly opened seafood restaurant CATCH Miami, rubbing elbows with a host of other A-listers while dressed to the nines.
Derek and Hannah held hands as they arrived at the hotspot in celebration of Kendall Jenner’s newly launched menu item, Kenny’s Espresso Martini.
The retired Yankees shortstop, 49, looked dapper in an all-navy fit as he posed for photos with his arm around his wife while smiling at the camera. He rocked his classic shaved head look with a stubbled beard.
Hannah, for her part, glowed with a tan befitting a Miami weekend, complementing Derek’s monochromatic look with a tight-fitting, buckled brown dress. She paired the frock with strappy white heels.
While the pair, who tied the knot in 2016, have enjoyed several rare childfree nights out over the years, they are clearly happiest when they are with their kids. The Jeters have shared numerous sweet moments with all four children via social media — as well as at events, including Derek’s 2023 speech at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. (The MLB icon was inducted into the Hall of Fame two years earlier.)
In a funny video Hannah shared to Instagram at the time, one of Derek’s three daughters — Bella Raine, 6, Story Grey, 5, and River Rose, 2 — reflected on their dad’s appearance at the event.
“I didn’t like the first part when you were not even talking,” one of the girls told Derek, adding that they wish the MLB icon said, “I love the Jeter girls family.”
Derek was a proud girl dad — even showing off the hilarious makeover his daughters gave him in 2022 — before welcoming son Kaius in 2023.
