Breaking down the Dolphins defense post-draft – Miami Dolphins News 5/2/24
The Miami Dolphins defense has undergone a huge overhaul this offseason between the number of player that have come/gone and a new defensive coordinator in Anthony Weaver. The Dolphins lost Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips, their top two pass rushers, near the end of the season and there wasn’t much talent behind them besides Andrew Van Ginkel. They weren’t going to make that mistake again, so they drafted Chop Robinson and Mohamed Kamara and both will serve as key rotational pieces. The Dolphins also drafted Patrick McMorris at safety and despite being a sixth round pick, he’ll probably make the team because there is no depth at that position right now. Don’t be surprised when the Dolphins add a few more players on the defensive side over the next couple of months.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
