Double shooting, possible stabbing under investigation in NW Miami-Dade
MIAMI – Two people were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital Tuesday night after being shot in Northwest Miami and one other person was reportedly stabbed in a separate incident.
Miami police officers were led to NW 6 Avenue and 65 Street by a shotspotter alert.
When they got there, they found 2 males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to JMH in serious condition.
In a separate incident, police were investigating a possible stabbing not far from the shooting.
The incident prompted a large police presence in the 1800 block of NW 63rd Street.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said they transported one person to a local hospital.
A witness said he heard a large argument and screaming between two people before the reported stabbing.
No other details had been released.
It is not clear if both incidents are related.
Police continue to investigate.
