Man, woman dead in South Miami murder-suicide

SOUTH MIAMI, Fla. – A man and woman were found dead from a suspected murder-suicide at a South Miami apartment complex Thursday afternoon, according to police.

It happened at around noon at the Red Road Commons complex at Red Road and Levante Avenue.

According to Miami-Dade police, which is investigating the deadly incident, the man, in his 60s, and the woman, in her 50s, were in a romantic relationship. It’s not clear if they were married.

Authorities haven’t yet said who they believe killed whom.

Both South Miami and Miami-Dade police officers remained at the scene investigating into the afternoon.
