MIAMI – Firefighters faced a fire on Thursday night at a house near The Cathedral of St. Mary in Miami’s Little River neighborhood.

Firefighters extinguished the flames at the vacant house near the intersection of Northwest Second Avenue and 74 Street, across from the St. Mary’s Cathedral School.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
