First U.S. Mercedes-Benz Tower Coming to Miami

A few months after announcing their first residential tower in Dubai, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled another project, this time announcing their first U.S. tower is set to arrive in Miami.

In partnership with the JDS Development Groups, the 67-story mixed-use building in Miami, dubbed the Mercedes-Benz Places, will be situated in the Brickell neighborhood. Set to span over 2.5 million square feet and set to feature around 791 private homes, each unit’s price begins at $550,000 USD for studio apartment and the most expensive three-bedroom costs $4 million USD. However, it is uncertain how much the penthouses will cost at the moment.

Its multi-use functions also include 200,000 square feet of office space, health and wellness facilities, 174-key hotel, retail shops as well as on-site parking on top of the condo residences. Mercedes-Benz has enlisted Field Operations, best known for the Highline, to design the building. The design incorporates green area, hoping to ensure that the Mercedes-Benz Places will have the greatest green area in the neighborhood. The Mercedes-Benz aesthetic will be incorporated into the building, keeping to the cube-like structure and integrating its “sensual purity” ethos to it design philosophy. Construction has already begun on the high-rise and is set to start move-ins in 2027. Take a look at the renderings above.
