Body of missing Dayton woman found in Great Miami River – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

BUTLER COUNTY — The body of a woman found in the Great Miami River has been identified as a missing Dayton woman.
The woman was identified Erica Tooson, 45, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Dayton police confirmed to News Center 7 that Tooson had been missing since November 16, 2023.
Tooson’s body was found in the river near Canal Road in Hamilton on Wednesday.
“There doesn’t appear to be any evidence of foul play at this time,” the sheriff’s office stated.
