Police officers follow driver in stolen car in Miami-Dade, Broward

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Police officers followed the speeding driver of a stolen gray Land Rover on Thursday in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

The police pursuit started near the intersection of Northwest 107 Avenue and 41 Street in Miami-Dade, according to communication on police scanners.

The driver later traveled northbound on the Florida Turnpike, passed Okeechobee Road, and continued heading northbound on Interstate 75 in Broward, according to police.

Shortly before 2:20 p.m., police officers lost visual of the Land Rover, according to police.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
