Police pursuit ends with gun seized, suspects detained in Miami

MIAMI – Police officers seized a gun and detained several suspects on Friday in Miami, according to police.

Officers with the Miami-Dade and Miami police departments worked together after a driver refused to stop.

The suspects fled into an apartment complex, according to Officer Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the Miami Police Department.

Dozens of police officers were in the areas of Northwest 67 Street and 20 Avenue and Northwest 66 Street and 21 Avenue.

Some of the police officers involved in the pursuit belonged to the tactical robbery unit.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
