Police arrest 2 men after strongarm robbery outside Miami Lakes bank

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people are in police custody following a strong armed robbery outside a Miami Lakes bank.

It happened Thursday afternoon at a TD Bank branch located on Northwest 163rd Street and Red Road.

According to police, the victim was targeted after leaving the bank with an envelope of cash.

That’s when authorities said he was blocked by two men who demanded the money.

After a struggle, the two grabbed the envelope before taking off in a car.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle in northwest Miami-Dade County and take both suspects into custody.
