Officers investigating shooting in Miami

MIAMI – An investigation is ongoing after a man was shot in Miami.

The shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. along Northwest 2nd Court and 68th Street.

According to police, rescue workers rushed the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The status of the victim is unknown.

Police said officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

No information was made available regarding any suspects or persons of interest.
