State troopers ID man dead after crash on I-75 in Miami County – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

MIAMI COUNTY — A Kentucky man has been identified as the person who died in a crash on I-75 in Miami County Friday afternoon.

Fred Bohman, 61, of Columbia, Kentucky was driver pronounced dead on the scene, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The Piqua Post of OSHP responded to a car crash before 12:45 p.m., on I-75 northbound near mile marker 84 north of Piqua.
Bohman’s pick-up truck was traveling north on I-75 when the driver veered off the right side and hit a highway traffic sign and a fence.
The truck hit a ditch and overturned, the spokesperson said.

Bohman’s truck was the only one involved in the crash.
This crash is under investigation by the OSHP.
