Mazin Shikara Buys Oceanfront Golden Beach House for $16M
Dr. Mazin Shikara and Julissa Shikara bought an oceanfront home in Golden Beach for $15.5 million, six months after selling their Jupiter estate for a record $27.5 million.
Records show Azul Pulia and Azul Zeena, Florida entities managed by the couple, bought the house at 407 Ocean Boulevard from Abelardo Monroy’s Florida LLC, Sweet Gift.
Doris Salazar of Prestige Sales Group had the listing, and Kim Cuomo of Keller Williams Realty brought the buyers.
Cuomo also represented the Shikaras when they sold their waterfront Jupiter estate for $27.5 million in May, marking a price record for residential sales there.
Dr. Mazin Shikara is a physician and CEO of Medical Consultants Management, a private medical practices management services provider based in Deerfield Beach.
The seller, Monroy, has bought and sold luxury real estate across Miami-Dade County. In 2021, he sold a waterfront Hibiscus Island home for $21 million. He bought the Golden Beach house that same year for $8.2 million.
Built in 1941 on 0.3-acres, the Ocean Boulevard home spans nearly 4,900 square feet, with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom, the listing shows. The house also has an ocean-facing pool. Previous buyers of the property sought to renovate it. Cuomo did not confirm her buyers’ plans for the home.
The property is next door to the 0.8-acre oceanfront vacant lot that billionaire real estate developer Ben Ashkenazy sold for $29 million last month. He first listed it for $11 million in 2019.
Other recent sales in Golden Beach include mortgage boss Michael Rappaport’s June sale of a waterfront home for $19.6 million. He and his wife had bought the house for $14.1 million in 2021. In March, Jill Aronsky Fischer, the wife of financier Brett Fischer, bought a waterfront home for $8.2 million.
